Intel“Cannon Lake”处理器将以10nm制程量产，不过下半年就会推出的第八代Core i系列处理器仍以14nm制程量产。
在Computex 2017期间宣布将在今年下半年推出第八代Core i系列处理器消息后，Intel确认采Cannon Lake架构设计的新处理器将以旗下10nm制程技术量产，而下一款同样基于10nm制程的Ice Lake架构处理器也已经完成设计。
不过，就目前Intel处理器发展蓝图来看，预计下半年预计推出代号Coffee Lake的第八代Core i系列处理器仍以14nm制程量产，但相比代号Kaby Lake的第七代Core i系列处理器将带来30%左右效能提升。
而就Intel此次透露代号Cannon Lake的处理器将以10nm制程制作，同时下一款代号Ice Lake处理器则将采用更精进的10nm制程制作，同时也已经完成最后设计流程，但并未透露具体推行时间。
只是从目前三星、台积电等制程技术已经进展至10nm阶段，甚至已经开始有相关处理器产品问世，并且用于市售机种，因此对于制程技术精进先前处于瓶颈的Intel而言，或许将面临不少挑战压力。
