拍摄大自然主题的摄影比赛“2017 Royal Society Publishing Photography Competition”日前公布得奖结果，由 Peter Convey 拍摄的作品，得到全场总冠军。

照片名为“Icy sugar cubes”，早于 1995 年拍摄，当时南极冰层出现不寻常的移动，恰巧有飞机在其上空飞过。有关作品同时夺得“Earth Science and Climatology”组别第 1 名。
今年比赛合共收到逾 1,100 幅作品，分成天文学、气候学、生态学、微观影像等多个类别，无论是火山爆发、北极熊沉思，还是蜘蛛网的复杂结构，都可以从中欣赏。
