日前宣布Android 6.0以上机种均可加入使用Google Assistant数位助理服务消息后，Google再次确认更新新版Google Play Services之后，就连Android 5.0旧版本机种也能使用此项数位助理服务。
另一方面，Google也确认Google Assistant将进驻采用Android平台的平板装置。

在此之前，Google仅开放Android 6.0以后、采用720P屏幕分辨率规格机种使用Google Assistant数位助理服务，此次让更多Android 5.0以后机种也加入使用，预期将驶更多人能借由自然语音方式与手机互动，同时也能借由取得更多互动数据让Google Assistant数位助理服务运作更加流畅。
